Edo has earned several degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Lincoln University, a Historical Black College & University in Missouri. She also has two masters’ degrees from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Management. Stepping outside of her comfort zone in Information Technology, she obtained both of her Master degrees to learn more about the business aspect of organizations. This was fascinating for her, as she learned what management and leadership should look like, how they should act, and the knowledge they should hold in order to be a successful leader. This sparked a flame in her to become the best leader in any field by any means necessary. Not only did she face disparities as a second-class citizen, but she continues to push past any atrocities head first to become that woman of social change.

As a woman, Edo knows women can lead effectively as executive leaders of any organization. She hopes that she can inspire all young girls to keep their fire burning, never give up, be resilient put up a good fight for what they want, and stand in their confidence.

Edo Watson-Branch is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, and hopes to touch the lives of as many people as she possibly can in a positive, empowering dynamic. Edo is a member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Edo truly believes that This Girl Leads®, Inc. is the “future of woman” and an organization to live in its vision of empowering girls regardless of race, ethnicity, income or social status to become a self-sufficient, confident leader. After all, This Girl Leads®!
